Prison Ministry in New Hampshire

Changing Hearts
      Transforming Lives
            Impacting the World

Because of the pandemic, volunteers are not allowed inside the New Hampshire prisons.  Also, the Outside Weekends are not allowed because of the restrictions on the number of people allowed to meet in groups.

Get Involved with Kairos

There are many ways you can help!

Be a Team Member!

Since Kairos grew out of the Cursillo movement, it is highly recommended that you start by attending one of the related weekend renewals. Catholic Cursillo holds weekend events regularly, as does the ecumenical Tres Dias and a variety of Protestant denominations. Walk to Emmaus, or Lutheran Via De Cristo or Presbyterian Cursillo or Episcopal Cursillo or Great Banquet or any of the other related movements, we welcome members of any of these in Kairos.

There is a Wikipedia entry for the above mentioned movements which also includes others.

Be a Prayer Partner!

Prayer is a integral part of all Kairos activities. Your prayers are effective and greatly appreciated.

Be a Support Volunteer!

If you have skills you would like to share, but do not want to go inside a prison, there are jobs you can do that don’t involve becoming a prison volunteer. Send us your “resume” and someone will contact you to discuss opportunities to serve.

Create Agape!

Visible Agape is artwork which is posted on the walls of the community room for the participants to read throughout the Weekend. Signed placemats and posters made by children (first name and age only) are also especially treasured by prisoners.
